Love Beets: Organic Beet Juice

The Organic variety of Love Beets appears to be the company's most straightforward and unadulterated flavor. It’s made with 99 percent beet juice and 1 percent lemon juice, which results in a very bold and beet heavy flavor. That said, you really have to love beets in order to enjoy this product; it’s a pretty one dimensional flavor. Fortunately, the beet flavor is quite good and the product delivers exactly what is promised. Compared with Love Beets' 20 oz. conventional product, we found the organic variety to be a bit sweeter. As for the package, we think that the market for a 14 oz. glass bottle seems larger than that for a 20 oz. fully wrapped PET bottle. We say this both because this product feels a bit more upscale and premium and because 20 ounces seems like a rather massive portion size for something that’s so intense in flavor. Lastly, we appreciate the simplicity of the branding. There’s no question as to what the product is and it exudes a positive and healthy vibe without making any claims. Overall, we’re not sure how big the market for beet juice will ultimately be, but this product has certainly solidified its place in the category as one of the best options out there.
