Review: Guava Mamma

Guava Mamma is a guava and pineapple flavored hydrated chia seed beverage that is part of the Summer 2012 Mamma Chia line extension. The flavor of the product is very subtle, just like the rest of the Mamma Chia lineup, with the main flavor of the product still being that of the chia seeds. The guava and pineapple flavors come in as secondary flavors, adding a somewhat complementary fruit flavor that makes you want to go back for another sip. To that end, it’s a very addictive flavor, which is extremely impressive given how mellow the flavor is. On the outside, we still love the 10 oz. curved glass bottle, which fits the brand perfectly. We’d say the same for the label, which exudes healthiness and quality through its simple design. Really our only concern for this product is the visual similarity between the growing number of flavors in the line. Otherwise, we really wouldn’t change a thing.
