Review: New York Minute Energy Drink

New York Minute is a new energy drink that claims to be "different from all other energy drinks" due to the use of crystalline fructose as the sweetener. Sorry guys, there are other energy drinks that use crystalline fructose (such as DefCon 3). Regardless, we still think it's a good tasting formula that could be consumed on a regular basis. The flavor is mild and has a light but sweet citrus/cherry flavor to it. The use of crystalline fructose definitely helps gives it a slightly lighter body and cleaner finish than a product using high fructose corn syrup. The packaging is clean, relatively easy to read, and somewhat appealing to the eye. Overall, a good entry into the category, but we're not quite sure if this product has what it takes to be a major contender. However, it can definitely be a strong niche player. Kudos for not being offensive, aggressive, or male oriented.
