Pura Fruta: Watermelon

Pura Fruta’s Watermelon variety is a high pressure processed (HPP) beverage that is made with 100 percent watermelon juice. Having only a single ingredient, we expect the product to have a very fresh and full-bodied flavor. Fortunately, that’s exactly what you’ll find inside this bottle. Perhaps the only knock on it is that it’s one dimensional or only for people that enjoy watermelon. Regardless, the product is definitely on point when it comes to fresh tasting flavor. It literally tastes as if you freshly juiced a watermelon. On the packaging end of things, we like the company's use of a 12 ounce bottle. It feels like the right size for this product and it has a visually polished appearance to it. There are some things about it that feel a bit extraneous, such as a “vegan” callout, but we’d also like to see a more prominent mention of HPP. Still, these are pretty minor points and the overall product is extremely well done.
