Revive Kombucha: Happy Hour - Kombucha Shrub

This flavor of Revive Kombucha is perhaps the most unique tasting flavor of the line. It blends kombucha with coconut vinegar, cherry juice concentrate, raw lemon juice, and house made bitters. Designed to be “Manhattan Style” (as in the cocktail), the use of cherry juice and bitters definitely gives the product a flavor that’s different than any kombucha that we’ve ever sampled. It’s tart, but slightly tangy, while the added vinegar gives this product a more pronounced vinegar note than any of the other flavors have from the kombucha alone. While we might not reach for this every time, it’s a very enjoyable product. On the outside, the packaging is a swing top 16 oz. glass bottle. The shape of the bottle is something that sets Revive apart from the competition, but we feel as though the company made the Revive logo too small in this latest version of the label. It is, however, more approachable in its design, with the illustrated label giving the product a less serious look than the old format. Still, we feel as though better tying in the brand would definitely help things out. Overall, an innovative and enjoyable flavor from Revive.
