Is it an energy drink? Or is it a soda? The answer is that it's a bit of both. Either way, this USDA certified organic carbonated soft drink is refreshingly well done. The tall, heavyweight 10 ounce bottle feels sturdy in your hand and gives off a premium vibe. The label is clean, but the logo is easy to lose in the amber colored backdrop provided by the liquid. As for the flavor, Sol Mate does not disappoint. It's much lighter than other mate products we've tried, with a mellow tea flavor that's complemented nicely by the carbonation and sugar. Overall, Sol Mate is a product that is very drinkable and while it will likely have success in health & natural stores to start, it definitely has mainstream potential.
