BevNET Review

Temple Turmeric’s version of Fire Cider is a unique take on the the trendy apple cider vinegar-based functional drink. Typically, a fire cider is more of a shot than a beverage, but Temple has gone with a thinner version that’s both loaded with extras and much easier on the palate. The formulation features the company's signature Oana Turmeric, apple cider vinegar, ginger, lemon, macuna seed, horseradish, orange oil, ghost pepper, vegan probiotics and cardamon. Speaking purely from a taste perspective, this is probably the best tasting apple cider vinegar-based drink that we’ve sampled to date. The turmeric and the flavor from the added citrus give this product some depth and refreshment that you won’t find in competing drinks. Plus, we really like that Temple has added a host of good-for-you ingredients to the mix. Vegan probiotics in particular seem like a very marketable and beneficial additive. Visually, this product is packaged in a 9.6 oz. container. It’s not one that we’ve seen them use before, but we really like the look of it and how it feels in your hand. Honestly, we even like it better than the more squat looking bottle that the company uses for its flagship product. If there’s anything about this product that we’d change, it would be to make the flavor name more prominent and easy to read. Otherwise, we wouldn’t change a thing. All in all, an exceptional line extension from Temple Turmeric.
