Tongo Coconut Water: Pacific Orange

We’re not quite sure what Pacific Orange was intended to mean, but this product has an orange and creme flavor (which might be the result of orange mixed with coconut water). This isn’t a bad thing, but definitely not what we were expecting (Pacific Orange implied something that would be very citrus heavy). In any event, the coconut water and agave nectar base work well with the orange flavoring, making for something that’s pleasing to the palate and thirst quenching. On the packaging front, the 16 oz. fully wrapped PET is clean, but the “T” logo running over the ribbing of the bottle could look better (maybe by making it lower on the bottle). As it currently stands with the product’s appearance, it sits in between a sports drink and refreshment beverage. We think that it would be better if the product committed to one rather than straddled the two as it appears to now. Overall, this product tastes really good and the labeling seems like a good start, but we feel like a little more thought to the messaging would go a long way.
