Tongo Coconut Water: Warrior Punch

As the name suggests, Warrior Punch is a fruit punch flavored coconut water drink sweetened with agave nectar. Compared against other similar coconut water based drinks, this one has a very mainstream, sweet flavor. The product has a very sports drink-like flavor, which seems to go hand in hand with the name of the flavor and the choice of bottle. And for people who are new to coconut water, this is definitely a great flavor to start with. On the packaging front, the label design is visually appealing, but the Tongo name and branding seem to be singing a slightly different tune than what’s inside the bottle, with no mention of sports and only a small mention of hydration. Overall, a very nice tasting coconut water based product, with minor label tweaking being the only obvious area that the drink could be improved.
