Topplez: ToppLez Cafe 125

While you might not know it from the packaging, Topplez 125 is an iced coffee drink. What’s even more interesting are some of the ingredients that are used in this product, including Irish cream (non-alcoholic), Swiss chocolate, soy protein, espresso, toasted marshmallow flavor, toasted almond mocha (whatever that is), and chestnuts. We’re sorry to say that this creates a very messy flavor and a gritty consistency. With bitter notes of coffee and a strange tart sweetness, the product is not enjoyable to consume at all. Honestly, we have a hard time imagining that there’s anything more than the smallest number of consumers who would disagree. Unfortunately, the 8 oz. packaging complements the formulation, but only in the sense that they are both head scratchers. It’s difficult to open and visually unappealing and confusing (what kind of product is it? what does “Topplez” mean?). It’s unfortunate to say, but we really can’t find anything positive to say about this product -- and we hope that whoever made it will go back to the drawing board and come up with something better.
