ZICO: Watermelon Raspberry

Zico’s Watermelon Raspberry flavor is a from concentrate coconut water drink that is naturally flavored. In addition to naturally occurring sugars from the coconut water, the beverage is formulated with stevia. From a taste perspective, this one is on par with Zico's other PET offerings in terms of its overall quality. However, the lack of watermelon or raspberry juices is a bit of a disappointment. Still, the flavorings are pretty spot on, although there’s a little too much of each to the point where it becomes difficult to taste the coconut water as you make your way through the bottle. But for the mainstream consumer who isn’t looking for pure coconut water, it’s certainly a very nice tasting product. Plus, you can’t taste the stevia, which is always a plus. On the outside, the 14 oz. bottle follows the same style as Zico's other PET offerings. The red accent color is vibrant and eye-catching, even amongst the brand's other flavors. Ultimately, we really like the idea of this product, but we’d like it even more if the company could further refine the flavor.
