ZICO: Tropical - 1.5L

ZICO’s third 1 L offering comes in the form of “Tropical,” a blend of coconut water from concentrate, pineapple, guava, orange, passionfruit and lemon juices. This shelf-stable offering is definitely one of ZICO’s more fruity offerings to date -- and it’s a good one. We really like the fruit blend that they’ve chosen, which certainly tastes “tropical” and is loaded with fruit flavor. You can taste the guava, passionfruit and pineapple very easily, which is a big plus for this product. ZICO has definitely pushed the limit of just how much fruit juice they can pack in -- any more, and the coconut water flavor would probably be washed away. Visually, the product is a nice play on their classic Tetra Pak carton design, with an accent color on the top and the trademark ZICO design on the front. However, we wish the company could dial down the amount of text that’s to the right of the logo as it interferes with the cleanliness of the packaging. Overall, a very enjoyable addition to the ZICO family.
