NEW YORK — WAT-AAH!, one of the fastest-growing bottled water brands geared to kids and teens, encourages everyone to drink more water this summer with a set of murals as part of its #WATAAHWALL Series. The newest wall to be added to the series is a 75’x15′ eye-catching mural unveiled in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, following the first #WATAAHWALL, which was a 2,500 sq. ft. mural created by Kenny Scharf in New York City. Chicago’s #WATAAHWALL mural is part of WAT-AAH! Taking Back the Streets’ traveling art campaign was created by renowned artist Pose. The legendary Chicago based artist worked side by side with five art students chosen by the University of Chicago’s Arts Incubator Design Apprenticeship Program (DAP) to create the city’s mural. The artwork represents a celebration of water done in Pose’s iconic bright colors and layered graphic style. Unveiled today, the #WATAAHWALL can be viewed at 175 N. Racine Ave (corner of W Lake St.) Chicago, IL.

The Chicago tour culminates Friday, July 18th through Sunday, July 20th with the opening of an art gallery at Chicago’s Moonlight Studios (1446 W. Kinzie St.). As a celebration of the exhibit’s opening, world renown street artists, Icy and Sot will be painting a mural entitled, “Dreaming of Water“; a simple, yet powerful piece that translates the importance of drinking water, which will join the line-up of murals featured as part of the #WATAAHWALL series. The exhibit itself will showcase original artwork and WAT-AAH! bottles with custom designed labels created by some of the nation’s preeminent street artists including: POSE, Hebru Brantley, Kenny Scharf, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Lady Aiko, Eric Haze, Icy & Sot, Maya Hayuk among others.
Following the Chicago exhibit, the WAT-AAH! Taking Back the Streets art campaign and #WATAAHWALL series will continue to move across the country with additional stops in New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, and more.
