Distribution: Táche Goes Deeper In SoCal; Crescent 9 Takes THC To Louisiana Grocers

Táche is now sold at Bristol Farms in Southern California

Táche Brings Pistachio Milk To Bristol Farms

Táche announced this week that its pistachio-based alt milks are now available at 15 locations of Southern California natural grocery chain Bristol Farms. The retailer is carrying all four varieties (Original, Unsweetened Original, Vanilla and Unsweetened Vanilla) of its 32 oz. cartons for $8.99 each.

The Bristol Farms partnership expands the brand’s reach in California where Táche is also carried at specialty grocers like Erewhon and Nugget Markets.

The Brooklyn-based brand was launched in 2020 by first-generation Iranian-American Roxana Saidi and has grown primarily through its success in driving trial through foodservice channels like specialty coffee shops, founder and CEO Roxana Saidi told BevNET in an email.

“Putting Táche into consumers hands to taste the difference between other non-dairy milks, and adopt it into their daily routine, has been a very successful strategy,” she said. “Consumers can taste and trial the product as part of their daily coffee drink, and then bring a carton of Táche home from a nearby retailer.”

Táche is in over 1,500 coffee and cafés while its retail strategy has targeted major metro areas along the coasts including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and New York.

Capitalizing on the “tremendous feedback” it has received in the natural channel, the company is now looking to larger national chains to grow the brand. Táche is planning to launch its first product “outside of milk” in DTC during the upcoming holiday season.

Crescent 9 THC Seltzer opens up Louisiana grocery channel

Crescent 9 Goes To The Bayou

THC seltzer company Crescent 9 announced it was now available in Louisiana adding retailers like Rouses Supermarkets, Canseco’s Market, Zuppardo’s, and Martin Wine & Spirits to its distribution list.

“The local grocery channel has really embraced Crescent 9 and the THC drinks category, making it one of the fastest-growing products we’ve ever carried,” said Wines Unlimited director of sales Christopher Noyes in a statement. “It is clear that the market was excited to see a new product in the form of a THC beverage.”

Crescent Canna – which also makes THC gummies and cereal bars as well as CBD topicals and drops – launched its THC seltzers at Mardi Gras in February. It also was the official VIP sponsor of Bayou Boogaloo and has seen distribution increase in on-premise locations like bars and music clubs in New Orleans.

Zuppardo’s Family Market owner Joseph Zuppardo said that since the grocery store began to carry the product it has had “impressive sales” and has “attracted new customers” to the retailer.

Crescent 9’s beverage comes in a single variety (though there is a high-potency 50mg THC version available on the website) and is marketed as an alcohol alternative that contains 6mg of Delta-9 THC, 3mg of CBD and “a touch of caffeine.” The brand sells eight packs on its website for $39.99.
