We’re getting closer to the big event and we thought we’d put one more big name on the billboard: Daniel Grubbs, the Managing Director of PepsiCo Ventures Group, will be joining BevNET Live to talk about his role, and his group’s role, in building partnerships with emerging food and beverage companies on behalf of PepsiCo.
Grubbs, who had previously worked with the company’s Premium Beverage/Emerging Brands division, has experience with such entities as Naked Juice, IZZE, O.N.E. Coconut Water and KeVita. He’ll offer his thoughts on the state of beverage entrepreneurship, methods that Pepsi is working with emerging brands and some of the considerations that take place with regard to the company’s attempts to enter functional beverage categories.
This talk on PepsiCo’s approach to new ventures will combine with the investment and partnership discussions offered by Nestle’s John Carmichael, as well as insights from event sponsor VEB during the New Beverage Showdown to provide a unique, three-sided, invaluable view into the processes and outlooks of the industry’s largest strategic entities.
