New Beverage Showdown 16: Present Your Brand to the Industry this December

A new class of rising star beverage brands will take the BevNET Live stage to compete in the 16th edition of the New Beverage Showdown. The business pitch competition, respected for its record of identifying highly innovative next-generation beverage brands, will take place on December 3rd and 4th at BevNET Live Winter 2018 in Santa Monica, CA.

New Beverage Showdown 16, presented by Coca-Cola’s Venturing & Emerging Brands, puts beverage entrepreneurs in the hot seat. With just a few minutes to impress the judges’ panel, live audience of industry professionals, and thousands of online viewers, they are nevertheless foretelling the future of the beverage business.

On December 3rd, the first day of the conference, the chosen semifinalists will step into the spotlight with two minutes to impress the BevNET Live audience and judges. They will get immediate, invaluable feedback from the judges. At the end of the semi-final round,a handful of brands will be chosen to present a longer pitch in the finals on the second day.

The judging panel — composed of industry experts, investors, retailers, and more — will ultimately decide which finalist comes out on top and wins the grand prize, valued at $10,000. Past judges include representatives from Kroger, Albertson’s, Whole Foods, ACG, First Beverage Group, AccelFoods, and Flood Creative among others.

The New Beverage Showdown is where young brands are discovered. Providing a platform for heavy exposure, brands open the door to strategic conversations and partnerships that can propel them to the next level. Past winners include well-known brands like Health-Ade Kombucha, Owl’s Brew, Bear Squeeze, Tio Gazpacho, and Grady’s Cold Brew.
