Competing against nearly 5,500 entries, including hundreds of American whiskeys from around the country, Rod & Hammer's Cask Rye achieved an impressive score of 96. Bottled at a barrel-strength 112 proof (56% ABV) and featuring a high 95% rye grain mashbill, this whiskey offers a bold and spicy profile with notes of black pepper and leather, balanced by a rich caramel sweetness and a smokey finish.
