Regal Wine Imports Expands Spirits Portfolio with Launch of Gin Eva from Mallorca

Moorestown, New Jersey – Regal Wine Imports is excited to announce the expansion of its premium spirits portfolio with the introduction of Gin Eva, now available in New Jersey, New York, and Delaware. This artisan gin, distilled in Mallorca, is a tribute to the Mediterranean spirit and its people, capturing the essence of the region's flavors and heritage.

Gin Eva's story began in 2012 when Catalan oenologist Eva Maier and German winemaker Stefan Winterling, a husband-and-wife team, started experimenting with spirits and botanicals in their small garage on the beautiful island of Mallorca. Their passion and dedication led to the creation of one of Mallorca's first gins, a unique blend of Mallorcan juniper berries, botanicals, and locally grown citrus fruits. They distill every botanical separately in a traditional copper still at its point of ripeness and then blend various distills together, like a wine coupage.

In 2022, a decade after their first distillation, Gin Eva moved to a new facility in Llucmajor's commercial area, affectionately named "Casa Eva." The distillery remains a welcoming space, open to visitors who wish to experience the craftsmanship and passion behind Gin Eva.

Gin Eva’s flagship product, the classic Gin Eva with the red label, has received widespread acclaim. Notably, its olive gin variant, "La Mallorquina," was awarded first place at the World Gin Awards in London in 2019, earning the title of World’s Best Signature Botanical Gin. Simultaneously, the classic red label was voted the best gin in Spain.
