Novo Fogo Launches Nationwide “Cocktails on the BREAD Tour”

Cocktail Road Show Coincides with SOFI TUKKER’s Tour Dates and Features Netflix Drink Masters

SEATTLE, Wash. (September 25, 2024) — Beginning this month and throughout Fall 2024, Novo Fogo, a Brazilian cachaça producer, is excited to announce a tour of cocktail events around the United States featuring celebrity bartenders from the Netflix show Drink Masters. Part Brazilian agricultural company, part classic cocktail, and part jungle disco, a Novo Fogo party is an inclusive space where cocktail drinkers and alcohol-free imbibers alike can revel on the dance floor and feel the Brazilian spirit. This fall, they’re taking the show on the road at high-end bars and restaurants in 12 cities that coincide with the headline tour of dance music superstars and Novo Fogo co-owners, SOFI TUKKER. These pre- and post-concert events seek to bring together SOFI TUKKER fans, known as the Freak Fam, over a shared love of music, elevated cocktails and mocktails, and the spirit of Brazil.  


The full SOFI TUKKER “BREAD” North American tour will reach 24 cities, where the Grammy-nominated artists will perform songs from their third album, BREAD (an acronym for Be Really Energetic And Dance), which debuted in late August 2024. For SOFI TUKKER’s headline tour, the band has contributed $1 of every ticket sold to The Un-Endangered Forest™, Novo Fogo’s reforestation project to save 50 rare Brazilian trees from extinction. In addition, $1 from each cocktail sold at the pre- and post-concert events will be donated to the project. This combination of Novo Fogo Brazilian drinks, SOFI TUKKER music, and rainforest conservation reflects the shared values that connected Novo Fogo and SOFI TUKKER in the first place. 


“We have a lot in common with Novo Fogo—we share a core love of Brazil, fun, and environmentalism,” said the music duo. “This partnership works because Novo Fogo is so much more than cachaça and spirits; they promote a balanced lifestyle and are a powerful rainforest preservation steward, and we’re enthusiastic participants in the reforestation project The Un-Endangered Forest. When you drink Novo Fogo’s cachaça and mate teas, you’re also helping to restore threatened tree species in the Brazilian rainforest!”


To provide world-class Brazilian drinks at these parties, Novo Fogo has partnered with celebrity bartenders from the Netflix series, Drink Masters, who create and execute an extraordinary menu of innovative cocktails, both cachaça-based and alcohol-free.

Netflix Drink Masters on Tour 

  • Meredith Barry is an award-winning bartender focusing on inclusive spaces. She/They own the St. Louis bar Platypus, recently named “Best Under the Radar Bar,” by Liquor.com and New Society, named “The Best New Bar,” by Feast Magazine.
  • Kapri Robinson, a bartender, educator, and event organizer. She is the president and founder of Chocolate City’s Best, an organization geared toward connecting Black and Brown bar industry members to community and career growth opportunities. Perennially nominated as one of the country’s best bartenders, Kapri was named the prestigious “Bartender of the Year” in 2023 by Liquor.com and in 2024 by Tales of the Cocktail. 
  • Suzu is based in the Bay Area and spent much of childhood and teenage years in Tokyo, working in his grandparents’ restaurants and has since developed an illustrious career at some of San Francisco's most iconic cocktail bars, including 15 Romolo, Benjamin Cooper, and Wildhawk. After years of hosting his cocktail pop-up, Kagano, around California, Suzu is currently taking it on a 9-month North America tour before opening a bar in New York City in 2026. 
  • Kate Gerwin, a Drink Masters finalist, is well-known for being the first American woman to win the Bols “Around the World Bartending Championship,” in 2014, Drinks International’s “Top 100 Most Influential Figures in the World,” and for being inducted into the Tales of the Cocktail Hall of Fame. But it is Happy Accidents, her bar and distillery in Albuquerque, New Mexico, that Kate is most passionate about. Happy Accidents was awarded “Best New American Cocktail Bar” by both Tales of the Cocktail and Liquor.com, and took home this year’s “Bar of the Year” award at the Bar & Restaurant Expo. As an industry mentor, Kate’s proudest moment was winning the “Best U.S. Bar Team” award at the 2024 Spirited Awards.
