Everett, WA - James Bay Distillers announced today the launch of "Flightline Whisky & Spirits Club." The members-only 21+ club offers exclusive spirits releases including barrel-strength whiskies, gins with unique botanicals, as well as special discounts at various membership levels, and distinctive luxury bar-ware etched with the club logo. Each membership also includes multiple tastings at the distillery for the member and a guest each quarter.
"We chose the name, 'Flightline,' because we are located directly between two active runways," said Ernest Troth, President of James Bay Distillers. "Every day is an airshow here at Paine Field International Airport. It's a former U.S. Air Force base, so there is no shortage of runways - or flightlines."
The Flightline Whisky & Spirits Club features 3 levels, each named in turn for an aspect of flying. These levels include:
- Take Off, the entry level, provides three tastings per quarter for member plus a guest, an engraved tall shot glass, and a 15% discount on purchases.
- Cruising Altitude, upgrades the glassware to an engraved rocks glass, three tastings as above, and a 20% discount on purchases, plus one bottle of special release spirits each quarter.
- Perfect Landing, provides two bottles of their special members-only spirits releases, and includes all the other benefits of the Cruising Altitude level.
The company's home page (see link) includes additional information about the club, and links for interested parties to join the club.
