The India Bartender Guild (IBG), the country’s premier professional association for bartenders and beverage professionals, concluded 2025 on a high note with two major milestones that reinforced India’s growing influence in the global bartending arena. The successful execution of the IBG Zero Proof Competition 2025 and India’s Bronze Medal win at the 24th Golden Cup Cocktail Competition in Taiwan marked a landmark year for the Guild and the Indian bartending community at large.
Zero Proof Competition 2025: Redefining Innovation Without Alcohol
Demonstrating its commitment to responsible bartending and progressive beverage culture, IBG organized the Zero Proof Competition 2025, a national-level championship celebrating non-alcoholic mixology and flair bartending. The competition placed emphasis on creativity, technical skill, presentation, and international bartending standards—without the use of alcohol—highlighting the rising global demand for inclusive and mindful beverage experiences.
The championship was held across two major hospitality hubs:
- New Delhi – 4 August 2025
- Goa – 11 August 2025
Both editions received an overwhelming response from professional bartenders across the country, along with strong participation from hospitality leaders and industry stakeholders, making the competition one of the most significant bartender-focused initiatives of the year.
