DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – The Original Pickle Shot® (“TOPS”), the top-selling pickle spirit in the U.S., has announced that Jill Montgomery has joined the company in the newly created role of Vice President of Sales, further strengthening the brand’s leadership team amid rapid national growth.
The brand grew more than 15 percent in volume last year and recently ranked as Nielsen’s 10th-largest flavored vodka in the country. As the brand accelerates its national expansion, it has also opened or realigned distributor partners in several key U.S. markets, including Connecticut (with Mancini Beverage); Delaware (now with Breakthru Beverage); Kansas (now with Standard Beverage Corporation); Massachusetts (now M.S. Walker), New York (now with Opici Family Distributing), and Rhode Island (with M.S. Walker).
Montgomery joins The Original Pickle Shot from Compass Box, where she served as Vice President of Control States, Canada, and LATAM. Previously, she held senior sales leadership roles at Charles Jacquin et Cie, 375 Park Avenue Spirits (a division of Sazerac), and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. In her new role, Montgomery will oversee all national sales initiatives and distributor management, reporting to Lauren Ward, Chief Operating Officer at TOPS.
