Like Original Joe'y, both flavors include 12 thoughtfully sourced superfoods that blend to deliver long-lasting energy with less caffeine. Both new flavors use real farm-produced ingredients from USA-based family businesses. Joe'y has partnered with Nielsen-Massey to source their vanilla and with Guittard Chocolate Company for the key flavor component of their new Mocha blend.
Developing the two newest flavors was anything but a quick process. The company's commitment to customer satisfaction and quality led to a record number of formulations before the finalization of their Vanilla and Mocha flavors. The team began by rigorously vetting each potential ingredient partner against strict criteria, including direct farm relationships for 100% traceability, rigorous testing for both quality and consistency, and a particular focus on family-owned businesses—which, proudly, every single new supplier is. From there, the real experimentation began, with the team cycling through an extraordinary 27 distinct formulations for Mocha and 58 for Vanilla, refining each one based on detailed internal feedback. At key milestones throughout the development process, a select group of customers was invited to taste and evaluate the evolving recipes, offering candid, real-world feedback that shaped critical decisions about flavor balance, finish, and overall experience. The result is two flavors that didn't just pass the test—they earned their place on the shelf.
