Steeped in the legendary energy of Music City, Nashville Sweet Tea Co. is bringing its refreshing family recipe to grocery chains across Tennessee, with plans to expand into new markets in 2026.
Nashville Sweet Tea Co. is brewed small-batch by TailGate Brewery, Nashville’s independent brewery with eight locations across Tennessee. Made from Founder Wesley Keegan’s three-generation-old family recipe, Nashville Sweet Tea Co. is up 212% at retail after launching new points of distribution at chain grocery retailers in 2025. The brand is poised to enter several more new markets in 2026.
The brewing facility at TailGate Brewing’s headquarters in Nashville, where Nashville Sweet Tea is made, is geared up for increased production, with room to grow as the brand expands. “Making tea isn’t like making beer. We’ve made huge investments in our equipment to bring a great product to market,” said Founder Wesley Keegan.
The non-alcoholic, small-batch craft sweet tea and lemonade is now available in four refreshing flavors—Sweet Tea, Sunshine Tea, Peach Sweet Tea and Lemonade—at grocery stores and retailers statewide in single 16 oz. cans and in 12-packs online for nationwide delivery.
“Real sweet tea is a special thing and unique to the South,” said Keegan. “Our traditional recipes were handed down by my great aunt to her daughter and to me. I don’t know of a canned option of real sweet tea like this. It’s made by Tennesseeans, for everyone, and thanks to online ordering, available everywhere. As we expand distribution this year, we’re looking forward to expanding the core lineup and our points of distribution to give more people a real taste of the South.”
Brewed with organic tea leaves and real sugar, Nashville Sweet Tea Co.’s non-alcoholic tea never skimps on sweetness, and each sip delivers a refreshing taste of authentic Southern hospitality.
For TailGate Brewery, Nashville Sweet Tea Co. is a way to strengthen its portfolio and quench consumers’ growing thirst for craft non-alcoholic options. That desire is reflected in Nielsen’s recent projection that the alcohol-free category will exceed $1 billion by the end of 2025.
TailGate continues to craft a diverse set of beverages, from innovative beers to THC-infused sparkling water, while remaining committed to being a great place to work. As Nashville’s independent brewery, TailGate offers its more than 250 team members industry-leading benefits, including 100% paid healthcare.
