BarSol Pisco Introduces 2L Puro Quebranta
#1 Top-Selling Peruvian Pisco New Size Reflects Pisco’s Versatility & Offers a Solution for High-Volume Cocktail Programs for Faster Batching & Service & Reduced Waste
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, July 8, 2026 – Peru’s award-winning BarSol Pisco, imported by San Francisco’s Hotaling & Co., today announces the release of its top-selling Puro Quebranta Pisco (41.3% ABV; 2L) in a two-liter size. This new offering reflects the popularity of Pisco-based cocktails and offers a solution for high-volume cocktail programs, providing faster batching and service and reduced waste thanks to the larger format of the number-one top-selling Peruvian Pisco according to Drinks International.
“BarSol Puro Quebranta has always been an incredibly versatile spirit for cocktails,” says Diego Loret de Mola, Co-Founder of BarSol, which has seen an increase in depletions in the past calendar year. “By providing this new two-liter format, we’re responding to increased demand for Pisco-based cocktails – with Peruvian Pisco up 9% in 2025.”
BarSol’s Puro Quebranta Pisco is produced from 100% Quebranta grapes at the historic Bodega San Isidro in Peru’s Ica Valley. Pot-distilled in the traditional method using alembic copper stills, Puro Quebranta is distilled once to bottle proof without dilution or additives. The resulting flavor profile bears notes of ripe pear, red apple, citrus, roasted almond, walnuts and pecan, dark chocolate, cereal, dried apricot and ripe dark berry fruit, collectively offering a structure that performs exceptionally in cocktails such as the Pisco Sour, Pisco Punch, Espresso Martini, and El Capitán.
“We see momentum in Latin spirits and cocktail culture across our portfolio,” says Liz Brusca, VP of Marketing for Hotaling & Co. “From spicy margaritas, to carajillos, to Pisco sours, Latin cocktails are clearly capturing consumers’ attention, which aligns with the overwhelming popularity of Latin music. Pisco is riding this wave and a larger format bottle only makes it easier to serve these cocktails.”
BarSol 2L Puro Quebranta is currently registered in CA, IL, NJ, WA, FL, TX, CT, D.C., MD, and MA, and is being registered nationwide. For more information, visit Hotaling & Co. and follow @barsolpisco on Instagram; for purchase, please visit Proof by Southern Glazer’s.

About BarSol Pisco
BarSol Pisco was conceived by Diego Loret de Mola and Carlos Ferreyros with the help and support of the Mendiola family, who claim more than three generations of pisco making from the very same estate where BarSol is produced today, Bodega San Isidro. BarSol leads the pisco category, exporting pisco to the USA since 2005. BarSol Pisco is crafted in small batches and distilled to bottle proof; neither water nor any other ingredients are added, thereby creating the finest product produced under the SOL of Ica, one glass at a time.
