MINNEAPOLIS, MN (AUGUST 2026) — Half-Caff Coffee, a Minnesota-based ready-to-drink coffee brand focused on moderate caffeine and clean ingredients, announced the launch of its debut coffees.
Half-Caff Coffee was created after its founder, Owen Rahm, struggled to find a convenient ready-to-drink coffee with moderate caffeine. Many refrigerated and shelf-stable ready-to-drink coffees average more than 150 mg of caffeine per can and can reach 300 mg, compared with about 100 mg in a normal cup of coffee. They also often contain more than 20 g of sugar per can, so Half-Caff Coffee wanted to provide an option for consumers seeking a smaller energy boost or an afternoon coffee with clean ingredients.
The initial lineup includes three varieties: Lightly Sweetened Cold Brew, Vanilla Latte, and Mocha Latte. Each 11-ounce can contains 50 mg of naturally occurring caffeine, 5 g of added cane sugar, and is formulated for consumers looking for a lower-caffeine ready-to-drink coffee option.
“We created Half-Caff Coffee because we believed there was space for a different kind of ready-to-drink coffee,” said founder Owen Rahm. “Many consumers enjoy coffee but don’t always want the caffeine levels commonly found in the category. Our goal is to provide another option that fits more routines and more occasions throughout the day.”
Half-Caff Coffee products are currently available through the company’s website.
