BevNET Review: Made with an 8 percent juice blend of lemon juice and mango juice, the fruit flavor that is inside Cabana Tropical Mango Lemonade is quite enjoyable and very accurate. However, there’s more mango than lemon, which definitely makes this product feel like a lemon-flavored mango drink rather than a mango lemonade (not that that’s necessarily a bad thing). The product, which uses a blend of sugar and stevia, has a nice level of sweetness while also offering lower calories and sugar content than traditional lemonade. Packaging and branding are clean and appealing, although the color of the liquid inside the bottle is very similar to the Premium Lemonade and Island Spice Lemonade. Otherwise, we think that they’ve done a very nice job of creating a product that presents itself as a premium offering in the space. Definitely worth a try.Reviewed on: 11/22/2011

BevNET Review: Cabana’s Cherry Lemonade is made with 10 percent lemon juice and added cherry flavoring. Compared to the mango variety, this flavor actually tastes like fruit flavored lemonade rather than a fruit drink with a splash of lemon. That said, this product is exactly as advertised -- it’s a classic cherry lemonade. While the cherry flavor comes from flavoring, it’s accurate, and the use of sugar and stevia gives the product a sweet flavor that’s definitely pleasing to the palate. We definitely preferred this flavor over the strawberry (mainly due to the finish of the drink), with this variety having almost no aftertaste. BevNET Review: Using a sugar and stevia blend of sweeteners, Cabana Premium Lemonade is a product that delivers high quality flavor but with fewer calories (60 per 8 oz.) than sugar sweetened lemonades typically do. From a flavor perspective, this is almost completely undetectable by the drinker, with the lack of an overly sugary and lingering finish the only place where it’s easy to tell. Otherwise, this product, which is made with 12 percent lemon juice, is fruity and enjoyable, with plenty of lemon flavor paired with just the right amount of sweetness. On the packaging front, the 20 oz. glass bottle is clean and appealing, with a clear label that lets the consumer see the liquid inside. The graphics are straightforward and nicely executed -- it’s very obvious what the drink is and it definitely whets the palate. Overall, a very enjoyable lemonade.Reviewed on: 11/22/2011
