BevNET Review: Capri Sun Lemon Tea is, literally, instant iced tea in a nice looking package. The quality of the tea is so low, in fact, we're not sure it really is tea. Regardless, the flavor is palatable and most likely will be a hit with children due to its rather high level of sweetness. The only thing that we really like about this product is the look of the package. However, in our tests, it was very hard to reseal the cap. Mediocre at best.Reviewed on: 4/2/2003

Orange Dragonfruit

BevNET Review: Orange Dragonfruit is our favorite flavor of the brand. Why? Well for one it's the simplest flavor of the line. Featuring a base of apple and pear juices that have been combined with other natural flavors, this product has the simplest flavor out of the brand. It's also the most similar to the Capri Sun drink box products. Quality certainly isn't the best, but if you take it for what it is, it's not bad. The packaging is unique and rather eye cathing and the overall flavor is great if you want a sugar fix.Reviewed on: 4/8/2003

Strawberry Kiwi

BevNET Review: Strawberry Kiwi is your basic HFCS sweetened 10% juice beverage. It really has very little fruit taste and instead tastes more like sugar and flavorings. The juices used are apple and pear -- nothing too special here. In addition, since this product is being marketed at kids, we must point out that the closure on this package appears to be under high pressure. It was, in fact, very hard to reseal this product as well. Overall, this product needs a lot of work to be a high quality product.Reviewed on: 4/2/2003

Tropical Fruit

BevNET Review: Tropical Fruit Capri Sun is very similar to the Kiwi Strawberry flavor. Basically, it doesn't have a real distinct fruit flavor but rather a falvor that is basically like a fruit punch flavor. Like the other varieties, this product has 10% apple and pear juice, which is essentially filler and does not have an impact on the flavor. Seeing as this product is marketed at kids, we'd recommend adding more juice and reducing the level of high fructose corn syrup used in this prouct.Reviewed on: 4/8/2003
