BevNET Review: While this isn’t the first pumpkin flavored soda that we’ve ever tried, it’s definitely the best. Of course, that’s the result of trying to create a product that you’d actually want to drink as opposed to a novelty that’s intended to make a quick buck. Pumpkin Pie Soda features all of the stuff that Maine Root has come to be known for – high quality (and, in some cases, organic) ingredients, well balanced flavor, just the right amount of carbonation, and Fair Trade Certification. It does, in fact, taste like a liquid translation of Pumpkin Pie, completely with that slightly spiced finish that you’d get from eating a slice of the real thing. The pumpkin flavor is pretty accurate, although the product doesn’t have that creamy feeling that you’ll find in canned pumpkin (that’s fine by us). Packaging is bold and appealing, thanks to the use of bright orange color and a large image of a pumpkin. It definitely fits nicely with the rustic feeling of the Maine Root brand. BevNET Review: Maine Root's Root Beer is a solid beverage that is definitely worth your money. This rich and creamy beverage is sweetened with organic evaportated cane juice and flavored with spices -- nothing tricky or artificial. The flavor is extremely good and can definitely hold its own with any micro-root beer on the market today. The packaging is abstract but eye catching, and the product definitely has a hand made feeling to it. Overall, a solid product from Maine Root.Reviewed on: 7/20/2005

BevNET Review: This is redolent with ginger and has a nice, spicy bite. We like the strong presence of the sugar cane and the squat green soda bottle, which sets it apart from the rest of the Maine Root line and we’re glad it also has that primitive, hand-drawn label. It’s a nice, simple approach that yields a satisfying, complex drink that we’d love to stock in the bar or in the fridge. A must try for ginger beer fans.Reviewed on: 7/15/2005

BevNET Review: This is a high-quality, highly digestive root soda with a drier finish than a traditional root beer. When poured, it’s got a great, clear-elixir appearance and a strong sugary taste with small bits of wintergreen. The label is attractive, with earth tones and a pencil drawing to reinforce its simple, organic ingredients. There’s a tiny bit of the flavor profile that’s incomplete – not watery, but nevertheless held back, and that holds this back a bit, too.Reviewed on: 7/15/2005
