BevNET Review: The latest installment of Pimp Juice is PJ Purple Label, an rather unassuming 16 oz juice based entry. It packs a proprietary blend of acai, pear, and pomegranate juices, as well as grape extract, green tea extract, and yerba mate. Despite all the exotic sounding ingredients, the product has a flavor that's best described as a cross between grape and berry. Speaking of the exotic ingredients, that's also leads us to our biggest question about this drink. Specifically, is the urban styling of Pimp Juice in conflict with a drink that touts its anti-oxidant benefits and premium ingredients? We'd say yes. Then again, it's probably the taste that will make drinkers try this product and come back for more. That being said, we'd like to see them plug the flavor and add a bit more personality to this extension. Otherwise, we think they've got a killer drink.
