Sugar Free Raw Dawg is a new zero-calorie / zero-carb energy drink that offers a unique and refreshing flavor. The flavor is somewhat similar to the original Raw Dawg, but with a lighter and more delicate flavor to it -- a flavor which was clearly formulated with focus on having only minimal sweetener aftertaste. They've accomplished this quite nicely and the flavor really doesn't have a "diet" feeling to it. The packaging has been updated and is now easier to read -- the black text is definitely easier on the eye. We like the unique, edgy look of this product. Overall, an excellent new addition to the Raw Dawg brand that's definitely among the better 16oz sugar-free energy drinks.

While the creators of Raw Dawg Energy Drink are not new to the energy drink category, this is a totally new energy drink -- and a great one at that. This is one of only a handful of products to use horny goat weed (for whatever that's worth) which is an ancient Chinese herb that legend says goats used to eat before mating. All of that aside, the product tastes great. It features a sweet cherry flavor that's quite good. No medicinal flavor, no aftertaste -- it's really hard to believe that companies still make energy drinks that taste like medicine. Overall, this product is one of the few 16oz energy drinks that our panel would be able to consume the entire can of, so we'd definitely recommend trying this new product.
