Review: Hogan Energy Sugar Free

Posted: Sep 15, 2006 at 12:00 AM (Last Updated: Nov 03, 2006 at 9:52 AM)
Well, here’s an 80s throwback. From its star licensor to its neon-green color, Hogan energy gives us the Yuppie decade in a can. Fortunately, the flavor has been updated a bit, so there’s a citrus-y, not overpoweringly medicinal taste to the product to accompany its anachronistic selling position. Whether the Hulkster still has the juice to move product remains to be seen, but he’s got a pretty good canfrom which to do it – a bright yellow sunburst matches his golden mustache and hair, he’s a recognizable character still, and the drink’s not that bad. Nevertheless, for the diet version, couldn’t they have thrown on the Hogan daughters, as well?
