Lemon Tangerine

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 16 fl oz
BevNET Review: As far as flavor goes, this SoNu's Lemon Tangerine does a pretty good job. They've kept the flavor profile light, which allows the product to drink like a water, but it does provide enough flavoring and sweetness to satisfy your craving for something sweet. It has 90 calories and 26g of sugars per bottle, so it falls in about the middle of the category. Packaging uses the ever popular 16 fl oz Honest Tea style hot fill bottle. Unlike the competition, they've given it a full wrap, which certainly makes it look quite different. We're not yet fans of the black color scheme, but it certainly looks different. On the other hand, there's the logo, which is very difficult to read. We'd definitely suggest a simpler look to it going forward. Overall, very enjoyable flavor, but we think that the packaging could use some improvement.

Mango Peach

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 16 fl oz
BevNET Review: Again, SoNu has done a good job with the flavor of this one, giving the drink a mellow mango and peach flavor that doesn't overwhelm your palate. It's clean and crisp from start to finish, which is most definitely helped by the use of evaporated cane juice as the sweetener. USDA Organic certification is certainly a plus, although they'd probably benefit from calling more attention to the fact that the product is organic. Also on that note, we think that the fruit imagery at the top of the bottle and the flavor name at the bottom are too far apart, which might make the consumer have trouble choosing from the entire lineup.

Pomegranate Acai

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 16 fl oz
BevNET Review: Speaking purely from a marketability point of view, this is the best flavor of the lineup. Pomegranate and acai are two of the more trendy premium flavors out there, plus we think they've created good visual imagery that will catch the consumer's eye. In terms of flavor, it doesn't taste like pomegranate or acai, but this is an issue that we've cited in just about every flavored water using these flavors. That being said, we'll recommend this flavor based on its pleasant taste -- even if not accurate -- and packaging. We do, however, think that this product would benefit greatly from some packaging improvements (as cited in the other write-ups).

Tropical Passion Fruit

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 16 fl oz
BevNET Review: While it doesn't exactly have an accurate fruit flavor, SoNu's Tropical Passion Fruit flavor does offer a flavor that will likely be familiar to consumers who have sampled competing enhanced water products. Its tropical citrus aroma hits the nose just as you take your first sip, which helps add some depth to the otherwise mellow tropical style flavor. Plus, they've presented a fairly appetizing image on the front panel, although we still think that pulling the fruit closer to the product name and brightening up the label would be a smart move. Overall, one of the better flavors of the lineup.

Strawberry Cranberry

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 16 fl oz
BevNET Review: SoNu's Strawberry Cranberry water is, like the other flavors in this brand, a mellow flavored blend of fruit flavor, electrolytes, and water. It's rather pleasant to drink, giving your palate an enjoyable amount of flavor without overwhelming. The fruit flavor is decent, but a bit skewed towards strawberry and lacking on the cranberry. Overall, an enjoyable flavor, but not one of our favorites of this brand.

Blueberry Pear

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 16 fl oz
BevNET Review: Blueberry Pear is a combination that we can't say that we've seen before. That being said, we were anxious to give it a try. While it does have a rather pleasant fruit flavor, it doesn't have discernable berry or pear flavors. There are tart and sour notes and we think the main reason that this doesn't work is because of the product's relatively low level of sweetness. Plus, they have the difficult job of visually presenting the dark color of blueberries on top of the dark black backdrop used by the brand's label. Overall, this was our least favorite flavor of the lineup.
