“The days of just launching something and putting it up on Facebook ads just to get customers, it doesn’t work anymore,” said D2C brand builder and advisor Nik Sharma, speaking at BevNET Live Winter 2021 last month. “The 2015 world of DTC brands was you launch, you run some ads and all of a sudden you’ve made some money.… But today you can’t do that.”
