Heaven’s Door Spirits
Bob Dylan’s American whiskey brand, Heaven’s Door Spirits, announced the launch of Bootleg Series Vol. IV. The new expression is an 11-year-old wheated bourbon finished in Islay scotch casks and bottled at 111 proof. Named in tribute to Dylan’s famed series of album collections, the Bootleg Series is a portfolio of rare whiskeys and special blends. Boondocks
Royal Wine Corp. expanded its Boondocks Signature Collection Series with the release of Boondocks 18 Year Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The cask-strength bourbon, created by master distiller David Scheurich, is a barrel-aged blend (52.7% ABV) featuring tasting notes of Tahitian vanilla, butterscotch and dark maple syrup. Watershed
Watershed Distillery unveiled its “most exclusive whiskey” to date: Single Barrel Cask Strength Rye Whiskey. The 122.8 proof expression is aged for six years in a char four barrel with a mash of 57% percent rye, 36% corn and 7% barley. Though Watershed plans to continue production of this new offering with a permanent place in its portfolio in the future, only 125 winners will be selected via lottery for the opportunity to purchase the LTO for $89.99. Powers Irish Whiskey
Powers Irish Whiskey announced the launch of Powers Irish Rye, which the brand claims “balances the trademark earthy, peppery character of rye with the sweet flavor profile imparted from maturation in a full repertoire of American oak.” Bottled at 43.2% ABV, Powers Irish Rye will be released on February 20 in the U.S., Ireland, Northern Ireland, Dublin Airport and on the brand’s website for $32.
