With its terrific balance between blueberry and cranberry flavors, this tastes like it could launch a whole new wave of mixed cocktails -- and it isn’t too bad on its own, either. There’s not as much of that great blueberry pie scent present in the Blueberry-Cranberry variety as in other TrueBlue products, but there’s a bit more blueberry flavor, especially in the aftertaste. After I finished it, I swear I was feeling around for bits of blueberry skin with my tongue. That having been noted, it should also be noted that in order to get the ½ cup’s worth of blueberry juice that is supposedly present in each bottle, one has to ingest two servings’ worth, or 220 calories. For 220 calories, friends, you could eat a LOT of blueberries.
