BevNET Review
This variety of BluePrint Juice, which was launched in early 2015, is what appears to be a close sibling of the Kale Apple Ginger flavor that’s been part of the lineup since the beginning. In essence, the company has subbed arugula for the spinach and parsley and adjusted some of the ratios of the other ingredients. The differences are, for the most part, pretty subtle, but the use of arugula does provide some peppery flavor to the product. In addition, we notice a bit less ginger flavor. Otherwise, the apple, kale, and lemon provide the key flavor notes. All in all, this is a very drinkable addition to the lineup, although we’re not sure that it the variation between the other green flavors is significant enough. That’s a slightly bigger concern when it comes to the packaging. While we appreciate that the company stuck with the same approach that it's had from the beginning, three products with identical color seems to be testing the viability of the system as it expands the line. Overall, this is an enjoyable product, but, like the Chard Basil, it seems like more differentiation would help this product.
