The Lemon Twist flavor of Caribbean Rainforest’s Agua de Chia is a 70-calorie beverage that uses chia, sugar, flavors, sea salt and stevia as its primary ingredients. The flavor of the product unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired, starting with its candy-like lemon flavoring. Why the company would use something like this in a chia drink, we have no idea, and it certainly doesn’t go with the “Caribbean Rainforest” theme either. Furthering the problem is Agua de Chia's use of stevia, which it has failed to sufficiently mask in the product. Lastly, there’s the chia, which seems to stick to the bottom of the can no matter how hard you shake the product. That being said, this product’s formulation needs some serious work. Unfortunately, things are no better on the outside; this product’s design is a mess. There’s a collection of various fonts and colors, none of which really work together. And there’s a huge disconnect between the Caribbean Rainforest logo and the Agua de Chia logo. In any event, this product needs some serious visual help. Overall, it’s hard to even evaluate the concept when a product has as many flaws as this one currently does.
