Dahlicious Lassi: Alphonso Mango

The mango flavor of Dahlicious Lassi is a good one, blending big mango flavor with a nicely executed lassi style base. It’s a good substitute for a freshly made lassi drink, completely with a very smooth yogurt flavor that has just the right amount of thickness. It's not too sweet, allowing both the yogurt and mango flavors to hit your palate. They've used mangoes from Alphonso, a well known Indian cultivator of the fruit, and while we’re still not sure that this helps the marketability of the drink, the mango flavor is exceptional. Otherwise, the probiotic content of the drink is the key benefit, offering 15 billion live probiotics. The packaging, which has been moved to a proprietary hourglass shaped bottle since our first look at the product, has successfully blended its Indian roots with the look of a good for you product. And they’ve made the product look very professional, with a full wrap label that utilizes both matte and glossy finishes. Overall, a very enjoyable product.
