Golly Guarana: Golly Guarana

Well, we can honestly say that we haven't seen a product like Golly before. The flavor is light but sweet, with a very mild amount of guarana flavor. It lacks the bubblegum like flavor that we've seen in other guarana flavored sodas. However, there's a syrupy finish that leaves a coating in your mouth. A switch to cane sugar would definitely be an improvement, but it still doesn't help this product's largest issue: marketability. Specifically, guarana soda is either a) an ethnic product or b) a premium niche product and Golly's packaging feels more like a discount CSD for the mainstream. We'd suggest either classing it up or aiming it more towards the ethnic consumer. Until then, this is a somewhat rough product.
