Restock Launches Commercial Operating System Built for the Modern CPG Industry.
Austin, Texas — September 22, 2026 — Restock today announced the launch of its commercial operating system for consumer packaged goods, designed to address one of the industry’s most persistent challenges: fragmented sales systems, disconnected distributor relationships, and limited visibility across the route to market.
The company was born from two different but complementary sides of the CPG industry.
Co-founder Jacob Fischer brings more than a decade of experience in the creative and agency world, working with legacy brands, Fortune 500 companies, and emerging consumer businesses. Through that work, Fischer repeatedly saw the same problem. Brands could create strong products, compelling marketing, and meaningful demand, but when it came time to expand distribution, many lacked access to the right relationships, the right infrastructure, and the right tools to manage growth once distribution began.
That experience eventually led Fischer to build Snackables, a creative platform designed to give emerging CPG brands access to high-quality content, brand support, and industry relationships at a price point that made sense for growing companies. But across those relationships, the same operational challenge continued to surface: distribution.
Brands needed a better way to find the right partners, manage distributor relationships, understand where their products were going, and maintain visibility as they expanded.
On the other side, co-founder Josh Welsh brings direct experience inside the commercial engine of consumer brands. Welsh has worked across sales leadership, distributor relationships, retail expansion, route-to-market strategy, and the day-to-day realities of scaling CPG companies.
His experience exposed the other half of the same problem. As brands grow, sales, territories, distributor relationships, field execution, inventory, retail opportunities, and reporting often become fragmented across multiple systems and spreadsheets.
Together, Fischer and Welsh brought two perspectives into the same company: Fischer’s understanding of how brands are created, positioned, marketed, and supported, and Welsh’s understanding of how those brands are sold, distributed, scaled, and executed in market.
Restock emerged from the intersection of those two worlds.
“We kept seeing the same problem from completely different sides of the industry,” Welsh said. “Brands were growing, but the infrastructure behind that growth was still disconnected. We realized the answer wasn’t another spreadsheet or another isolated piece of software. It needed to be a system built around how CPG actually operates.”
Restock is designed to bring the commercial side of CPG into one connected environment. The platform brings together key account sales, distributor relationships, territory management, field execution, rep activity, routes, orders, product and SKU data, contracts, launch planning, inventory and depletion visibility, incentives, reporting, and commercial intelligence.
The company’s long-term ambition is to create a single commercial operating layer across the full route to market, from supplier to distributor to retailer.
For brands, that means gaining clearer visibility into who owns a territory, which distributors service specific markets, what field reps are doing, where orders are coming from, what displays are being won, where distribution gaps exist, and how the commercial organization is performing overall.
One of Restock’s most significant product initiatives is its field sales and Route & Fleet platform. The company is building a system specifically for CPG sales teams that allows managers to assign routes, manage reps, review orders and photos, track execution, identify distribution gaps, and run fully customizable incentive programs.
For example, a VP of Sales could create an incentive such as, “Rep with the most pallet displays this month wins $1,000.” A field rep could then visit an account, log the order, upload a photo of the display, and attach that activity to the active incentive. Restock would automatically update the rep’s activity, the leaderboard, and the management view.
“The rep should log the work once,” Welsh said. “Restock should do everything else.”
That approach is representative of the broader Restock product philosophy. The company is not trying to force CPG organizations to replace every system they already use. Traditional CRMs, ERPs, distributor systems, accounting platforms, retailer portals, and reporting tools can continue to serve their respective functions. Restock is being built as the layer that connects the commercial operation around them.
“CPG doesn’t have a shortage of software,” Welsh said. “It has a shortage of software that actually talks to each other.”
Restock’s go-to-market organization is also growing. The commercial effort is supported by industry veteran Brendan Alexandrovich and Taylor Sikorsky, who are helping build the company’s sales engine and bring the platform directly to CPG founders, sales leaders, and operators.
Alexandrovich brings industry and commercial experience to the team, while Sikorsky is helping drive outbound growth and account development. Together with the founding team, they are helping create a direct feedback loop between the market and the product.
That approach is central to how Restock is being built. The company intends to develop the platform alongside the people who will actually use it, with conversations from founders, sales leaders, distributors, and operators continuously informing product development.
The result is a company being built by people with direct experience across brand creation, marketing, sales, distribution, and market execution.
Restock is also deliberately positioning itself as vertical software rather than a generic business platform. The company is focused specifically on the CPG market, allowing it to build around workflows and operational realities that broader horizontal software platforms were never designed to address natively.
As consumer brands expand into more retailers, more territories, more distributors, and more states, operational complexity increases quickly. Restock’s ambition is to become the system leadership opens when they need to understand what is happening commercially across the business.
“This industry has accepted fragmentation for too long,” Welsh said. “Restock is being built to become the commercial infrastructure underneath modern CPG.”
Restock is a commercial operating system built specifically for consumer packaged goods brands and distributors. The platform connects sales, distributors, territories, retail accounts, field execution, orders, reporting, and commercial intelligence into one operating environment.
Its mission is to eliminate fragmentation across the route to market and give brands one connected system from supplier to shelf.
Every case. Every shelf. One system.
