Greater Than: Pom + Berry (2014)

The Pom + Berry variety of Greater Than appears to be the company's riff on a grape-flavored sports drink. The pomegranate and berry flavors definitely taste and smell like a cousin to a grape-flavored drink, while the purplish color of the liquid certainly makes it look like a grape drink. Regardless, we like what Greater Than has created, which, with its coconut water base, sea salt finish and reduced calorie formulation (it's sweetened with sugar and stevia), has a premium vibe compared to your standard sports drink. Plus, it’s a flavorful and hydrating product -- and that should keep consumers coming back for more. The packaging, which has migrated to a 16 oz. contour PET bottle, has been given a nice upgrade versus the company's previous efforts. It looks more upscale and polished, which makes the entire product feel more credible. Not to mention that the new bottle feels nice in your hand. Overall, a very nice addition to the lineup.
