Review: Lemon Lime Soda

Mill Valley, Calif.-based Hi-Ball makes an energy drink that isn’t sweet, isn’t colored, doesn’t really have any calories, sugar, carbohydrates, or ingredients beyond energy additives like caffeine and guarana, and carbonated water. With a touch of lemon-lime flavor, it’s a really unique energy drink that, as far as we can tell, will sell to people who like to have unique nonalcoholic products in their bar as mixers. It actually seems like a perfect drink for designated drivers, as well as those who want to try to pick off potential dates late during the party. We don’t know how big a market there is for those particular needs, but we do think Hi-Ball fills that niche pretty well.
