Juicera: Simply Orange

Simply Orange is high pressure processed 100 percent orange juice that is made with cold-pressed organic oranges. From a taste perspective, the beverage is very tasty and could probably fool people into thinking that it’s freshly squeezed. However, it has a somewhat commodity feeling to it in that the flavor of this product isn’t unique. We’re not suggesting that Juicera do something to it to change it, but rather that this is, for better or worse, one of those staple items that might be challenged when it comes to commanding a high price for it. That being said, we don’t completely understand the company's decision to add this to its lineup. But for what it is, this is definitely a very enjoyable bottle of organic orange juice. As far as packaging goes, the new design feels more buttoned up than Juicera's prior effort. We do, however, wonder if the company has gone too far in the other direction to the point where there’s not enough Juicera branding. While it looks clean and it’s very intuitive, there’s something about it that makes your eye miss the Juicera logo on first glance. Making it a bit bigger and perhaps making it white -- like the flavor name -- might help. Overall, a nicely executed super-premium version of a staple beverage and a nice step forward for the Juicera brand.
