Strong growth in the dairy-alternative market — which is expected to reach over $35 billion by 2024, according to a September, 2016 report from Grand View Research — is presenting some companies with added motivation to enter the kefir space.
The new products, along with their new spring flavor collaboration with fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, will be exhibited at Booth #4047 at the 2016 Natural Foods Expo West conference running March 9-13 in Anaheim, CA.
Dora’s Naturals will distribute Sipp’s current line of four flavors (Ginger Blossom, Mojo Berry, Summer Pear, and Lemon Flower) to their customer-base consisting of over 2,200 stores in the Supermarket, Natural, Independent/Specialty, Drug and on-premise channels throughout the tri-state area and beyond.
The private school’s operations group selected Lifeway’s Cherry Lime Supernova and Strawberry Kiwi Comet ProBugs Blast varieties as additions to their snack offerings because the line fits their mission of offering healthy foods during several snack breaks every day.

The Waukesha plant currently employs over 40 people, of whom more than 25% are former Golden Guernsey employees who lost their jobs after a bankruptcy filing closed the 58-year-old business. Lifeway purchased the shuttered plant for $7.4 million.
Flavors to be offered in Mexico include Lifeway’s plain, strawberry, blueberry and raspberry kefir.
