BevNET Review
The problem with Lolli’s Slimming Pop is that you have no idea why it’s supposed to be slimming. Does it have Super-Citrimax? Pseudoephedrine? Creatine? How does it make you slim? The answer is less enticing – it’s just diet soda. Not that it’s bad diet soda – it’s got a nice diet raspberry flavor and caffeine, which is a rarity in a low of small-batch low-cal offerings. It’s got a few hints of black cherry and a nice berry smell, and fizzes acceptably. With the addition of guarana and ginseng, as well as caffeine, it’s basically a diet energy drink in a 12-oz. glass bottle. And the classy ‘50’s style broad (presumably “Lolli”) on the label is a swell looker. So the stuff slims you down by making you energy-drink hyper. Which is great, but we bet it would sell better if they explained that more clearly.
