Fructilicious. With perhaps a little more melon than Mountain Dew, and certainly a lot more green, this “energy soda” has all you want in a run-of-the-mill citrus-flavored product, and more, including guarana, caffeine, taurine and ginseng. But a lack of carbonation combines with the high-fructose corn syrup to create an extra-thick mouthfeel and the sensation that, a few minutes after drinking it, you’re still drinking it. But it’s bound to be a “must-try” for any Mountain Dew fan, and as an energy drink that doesn’t taste like a standard energy drink, it’s definitely worth considering.
