Pressed Juicery: Pomegranate, Persimmon, Apple

Designed as part of Pressed Juicery’s fall seasonal lineup, the brand's "Pomegranate, Persimmon, Apple" variety is definitely one of the more unique juice blends that we’ve seen lately. The liquid, which is slightly viscous, has heavy pomegranate and persimmon flavor. It’s tart and sweet, with some bitterness to the finish. The apple flavor doesn’t really hit your palate until the end, which is definitely a good thing as it otherwise stays out of the way. All in all, this product is straightforward in that it tastes like the three ingredients that Pressed Juicery uses, but it’s exotic in that these are not your typical cold-pressed juice flavors. Definitely a nice job by Pressed Juicery in coming up with and crafting this product. Visually, the product follows the tried-and-true format of listing out the ingredients instead of branding it with a flavor name. For a flavor that has only three ingredients, it certainly works a lot better than it does on some of their flavors that have longer lists of ingredients. Finally, we wish that Pressed Juicery gave consumers more detail on its use of high pressure processing (which isn’t mentioned at all) as well as more transparency into the shelf life (the label says “enjoy within 3 days of purchase” but doesn’t mention an expiration date). Still, this is a very nice addition to the Pressed Juicery lineup.
