Made with a blend of orange, lemon, ginger, cayenne, reishi extract and echinacea goldenseal extract, this product was formulated to be something that could help consumers who are a bit under the weather. From our perspective, the product, both in its flavor and ingredients, has broader potential as a wellness shot for those consumers who like spicy flavors. And spicy flavor is exactly what you’ll find inside this 2 oz. container. The ginger and cayenne quickly hit your palate, while the orange and lemon, which add sweetness and some citrus pop, help soften things a bit. Still, there’s a lingering burn to this product, which tells you they didn’t skimp on either the ginger or the cayenne. Ultimately, we really like this product, both for its functionality and for it’s ability to show that there are other ways to use cold-pressed juice than just for cleanses or meal replacement. Visually, we very much like the look of the packaging. The 2 oz. container is a pure cylinder rather than something that’s tapered at the top line an energy shot and the greenish yellow cap makes it catch the eye quickly. While the label is slightly hard to read (due to the small type used to fit on the small container), we like the look of the Project Juice logo. All in all, a very enjoyable and well-executed product.
