Project Juice: Black Magic

Black Magic is certainly one of the more adventurous flavors that you’ll find in the Project Juice line. Using activated charcoal from coconuts (presumably the husks), this flavor is effectively a lemonade-flavored drink at its core. Aside from lemons and activated charcoal, other ingredients include lime, ginger, agave, and cayenne. There isn’t really much in the way of heat or citrus to this product, which is fine, and the overall mixture is very refreshing and light. The activated charcoal doesn’t add any obvious flavor to the mix, which is a good thing, we suppose. Looking at it from the outside, the black liquid is something that will certainly catch the eye. Plus, the contrast between the black liquid and the yellow green cap gives the product a very vibrant appearance. Overall, this is a bleeding edge product, and Project Juice done a great job with its execution.
